Prepare for a sugar rush — Chip City, the over-the-top chain that serves giant, warm cookies straight from the oven, opens its latest location Friday in Garden City.

Beginning at 11 a.m., customers will find six flavors on offer, from traditional chocolate chip and triple chocolate to the more inventive pumpkin spice latte (stuffed with espresso dulce de leche). The shop also offers a dairy-free chocolate chip cookie.

Cookies cost $4.50 each or buy five, get one free. A new slate of flavors will rotate in Monday and be available through the following Sunday.

Chip City co-founder Theodore Gailas said the company favored Garden City for its "family-oriented" community. The new shop is done up in bright, vibrant yellow with fun features including an interactive milk mustache mirror. "When you walk in you can try to take a selfie and get the milk mustache to line up," he said.

The chain opened its first Long Island location, in Oceanside, in March and has 11 outposts in Manhattan, Brooklyn and Queens.
