We laughed 'like kids in a classroom'

There are so many thoughts and memories I had with Jonathan Connors, a dear friend of mine.

We worked at Cantor Fitzgerald together, and took the wine course at Windows on the World two floors up from our office on the 105th floor of One World Trade Center. As you can imagine, the subject of wine can be very dry, and boring at times. But not with J.C. – Mike Ross and I laughed the entire 8 weeks of class, often with tears in our eyes. We were like kids in a classroom, that could not stop laughing even after being reprimanded. After each class, we would go out to eat at one of our spots, for even more laughs and usually more wine.

Jonathan had a way about him that made others smile and feel special. After all these years, I miss him more now than ever -- his warmth and friendship. He was a true gentleman.
