Memories of Christopher Matthew Panatier

Coach: He was 'a natural leader'

I coached Chris Panatier for four years at Stony Brook University. Chris was a great player, a great person and a natural leader. He served as my team captain in his junior and senior year. He finished his career at Stony Brook #7 in all time scoring ( at that time). In 2010 the Stony Brook ice hockey program retired Chris' #9 jersey in a very moving ceremony attended by his wife, children and teammates.
