Family friend recalls his younger years

I remember Georgie mostly as a little boy. I was and still am very close to his sister, Nancy Nee. Their family has always been a part of our family.

Georgie was a little red-haired boy who was so full of life. He only was still when he was sleeping. I remember him swimming at his grandma's pool in Rockaway and the car ride there and home with no seatbelts and kids all over the place. He used to ride his bicycle like a maniac down the block all the while jumping the curbs. He wasn't scared of anything. I will never forget his bravery.
