Memories of James Haran
Colleague: Jim was 'true blue'
I had the honor of sitting next to Jim at EuroBrokers at 2 WTC, before he went to Cantor.
It's amazing what you learn about someone when you sit next to them for 10 or 11 hours a day. This I know -- Jim was true blue. Jim made me laugh every day. Every single day. People gravitated to Jim because because he was at ease with himself -- what kind of man and what kind of father he was.
I will sadly miss the too many coworkers and firefighters, police officer friends who left us on that bright, sparkling blue and crisp September morning. I always smile when I think of Jim and I always will. I am happy I had the chance to get to know Jim Haran and I know I am a better man for it. I will always strive to meet the bar that he never even knew he set- for being a good person and a great family man.
God bless Carol and the Haran children. God bless you, Jim. I miss you buddy.
