The love of those lost gets passed on

Jerome -- a cousin, always there and never trying to exclude anyone. Even when growing up, he was very energetic, typical boy, but always respectful of right things. He used to tell his mother he would save lives and she could save their souls.

He loved life and enjoyed it fully. We miss him even today. We always expected to hear that he would die rescuing someone, we thought it would be overseas, we never thought it would be in our own backyard. God bless Jerome and all those individuals who put their lives out there for others. Where would we be without them? I shutter to even think of a world without Jerome. We also lost other family and friends, but none are forgotten, ever.

We know Jerome hears our prayers and every time we feel just even a little victimized we call on him to come help us and pray for what is needed. I guess if you had to look at 9-11 in a positive light, it would be how much love died and lives on from that day, you see you just can not destroy such goodness, it gets passed on. I and the whole family prays that such generous love for man as our brothers and sisters of 9-11 had for each other never gets buried but gets shared, with a lot of love. Isn't that what life is all about?
