Memories of Robert DeAngelis Jr.
It's 'such a terrible loss'
I knew Bob as a client in his role as Project Manager at WGI.
I was a salesman. He really was a very nice man who always treated me with consideration and respect (often not the case with many clients, as other salesmen will confirm).
I recall the first time I met Bob. I had an appointment with him and arrived on time, but his previous meeting had overrun. He came out of the meeting, introduced himself and shook my hand. Then he took me to his office and told me to make myself comfortable until his meeting was finished. He gave me some candy and asked his secretary to get me a cup of coffee. I spent the time waiting for him by looking at the amazing view of downtown New York from his office window.
Such a terrible loss.
