Frank and Tommy had worked in the same vicinity in the downtown area back in the late 70s, I think. He had mentioned that Tommy was a lot younger than he was, but that Tommy was always an eager and happy guy.

He always talked about you - I think he might have gone to your wedding. Frank was married to a womannamed Ann. He divorced her in 1986 and had a daughter, Anne Marie. They lived in Huntington.

I married Frank in 1986. On 9/11, we were watching Channel 4 in the morning when everything in the world blew up. Robby Singer, an old mutual friend of ours, had called us - he was working on Broadway so he could see everything - and mentioned that Tommy, Frankie Spinelli and Doug Smith had all worked in the towers.

Frank was upset the entire day and for weeks after that, and it was confirmed when Tommy was found, he was distraught.

I read a little piece in Newsday a while later about you and your family and my heart went out to you. Thank you for the little piece in Newsday [April 7] about Tommy.

Love and respect to you and yours,

Carolyn Anderson, Southold
