Starlet Lindsay Lohan's mom Dina Lohan was in court Thursday in Hempstead on drunken-driving charges, with her lawyer saying later she hoped for an "appropriate conclusion" to the case soon.

But attorney Mark Heller said the actress' mom had other things on her mind.

"Right now, Dina is focusing on preparing a turkey for her beautiful family," he said, adding that Lindsay would be joining her mom next week for the holiday.

District Court Judge Andrew Engel referred Dina Lohan to a community service program, saying volunteering could help her case. The judge said she should have an independent treatment evaluation, and set her next court date for Jan. 7.

State police arrested Lohan, 51, on Sept. 12 after stopping the white BMW she was driving on the Northern State Parkway, alleging she was driving 77-mph in a 55-mph area while intoxicated.

The Merrick woman has pleaded not guilty to multiple drunken-driving charges and surrendered her driver's license.

Heller offered the judge a report he said showed his client "was free of any alcohol or substance issues," saying she'd never even had a parking ticket in the past.

Lohan and her lawyer wouldn't comment on the possibility of community service.

"Happy Thanksgiving, everybody," she said, before leaving in a chauffeur-driven Rolls-Royce.

The Nassau district attorney's office had no comment.
