Fifteen companies have been named as Business Achievement Award finalists by the Hauppauge Industrial Association-Long Island, with winners to be announced next month.

Small business finalists are Biscotti, Toback & Co. CPAs; GreenLogic Energy, Irwin Contracting Inc. and Long Island Fiber Exchange. (That's Marc Clejan, CEO of GreenLogic Energy, at left.)

Large business finalists are Dvirka & Bartilucci Consulting Engineers, Grassi & Co. CPAs, Suffolk County National Bank and The Tiffen Company.

Not-for-profit finalists are the Child Care Council of Suffolk Inc., Jefferson’s Ferry Lifecare Retirement, Long Island Cares Inc. and YMCA of Long Island Inc.

Rookie of the Year nominees are Campolo, Middleton & McCormick LLP; Transparent Health Network and Vetter Environmental Sciences.

The winners will be named at a lunch gathering Sept. 14 at the Crest Hollow Country club in Woodbury.

The association will also present a special innovation award.
