2 join IT security team at CA

CA Technologies of Islandia has appointed two new senior executives to its information technology security team.

Henk Van Der Heijden joins the company as vice president of sales for security; and Tim Dunn was named vice president for the security customer solutions unit in Europe.

Van Der Heijden brings more than 24 years experience in info tech sales and services in the Netherlands and elsewhere in Europe, CA said.

Dunn will be responsible for understanding the security needs of customers and aligning CA's resources to serve them.

"Henk's appointment represents a coup for CA Technologies," Kevin Tumulty, the software company’s senior vice president and head of sales, said in a statement.

"Tim Dunn is one of the most talented IT security professionals in our industry. During his career at CA Technologies Tim has built strong customer relationships by helping them solve complex business and IT issues."
