2 join law firms in Nassau

Eli Akhavan, right, has joined Mineola-based Meltzer Lippe as an associate. He held a similar position at Herrick, Feinstein in Manhattan. The Great Neck resident has written published articles in areas that include charitable giving and donations of artworks.

Dariely Rodriguez, left, has joined Farrell Fritz in Uniondale as a commercial litigation associate where she will focus her practice on labor and employment law. Before joining Farrell Fritz, Rodgriquez worked at Jackson Lewis where she handled equal employment opportunity and affirmative action compliance issues.
