2 Long Island stocks heavily traded
Stocks of two Long Island-based companies were among the 10 biggest volume gainers on Nasdaq at the close of trading yesterday.:
Shares of defense and industrial electronics manufacturer Hauppauge-based Orbit International Corp. rose 2 percent to $3.
Shares of Melville-based P&F Industries Inc., which manufactures tools and hardware, fell 3.6 percent to $1.85.
