A top executive at BNY Mellon Wealth Management, one of the largest firms of its kind in the country, will present his 2014 forecast for the national and local economies during a breakfast event on Jan. 9 at Hofstra University.

Leo Grohowski, BNY Mellon's chief investment officer, will present his forecast for economic growth, corporate earnings, interest rates and stock market performance over the next 12 months at a meeting of the New York chapter of the Association for Corporate Growth.

The event, to be held at Hofstra's university club on campus, begins with breakfast at 8 a.m. followed by the speech at 9 a.m.
