3 new health care postings

Maureen Gaffney, left, has been promoted to senior vice president, patient care services at Winthrop-University Hospital. The Westbury resident will retain the responsibilities of her current position of chief medical information officer. She is a also physician assistant in the department of medicine.

J. Edmund Keating, right, has joined Winthrop-University Hospital in Mineola as vice president, marketing and advertising. The Garden City resident had had his own advertising firm.
 
Dr. Jonathan Singer of Port Washington has been named chair of anesthesiology at South Nassau Communities Hospital, Oceanside. He was managing partner at North American Partners in Anesthesia.
