3 new positions in health care

Larry Galante, center, has joined Parker Jewish Institute in New Hyde Park as director of facilities management. The Rocky Point resident was director of building services at Avalon Gardens Rehabilitation & Health Care Center in Smithtown.
 
Bernice Sandowski, right, has joined Our Lady of Consolation Nursing & Rehabilitative Care Center in West Islip as director of social services. The Wantagh resident was administrator at the Flushing Manor Care Center in Queens.
