5 business women honored
The Long Island Center for Business and Professional Women gave awards Tuesday night to five women for making "significant contributions to their profession as well as to women and the broader community."
The five in the front row, from left, are Arlene K. Haims, chief operating officer for Haims Insurance Group; Andrea Majer, executive vice president of Delux Transportation services of Port_Washington; Kathleen Rice, the Nassau district attorney; Leslie Adler, general counsel of Marcum LLP, and Donna Anselmo, founder of Bold Marketing Solutions.
Behind them are Ellen Cleary, who ran the event; Judy Martin of News 12, who was master of ceremonies; and Lhea Scotto-Laub, the president of the organization.
