A division of the Hauppauge-based defense and industrial electronics company Orbit International Corp. has a new $530,000 aircraft parts order from the U.S. Air Force.

The division, Behlman Electronics, Inc. is for a power supply for the Boeing RC-135, an all-weather reconnaissance plane.

The Behlman division, also based in Hauppauge, will start delivering the parts this year, and will continue until the middle of next year.

“Behlman anticipates additional production orders for these units as the USAF continues to upgrade this aircraft,” Orbit said in a news release.
