6 join local United Way board

United Way of Long Island named six new members to its board of directors.

Donald P. Astrab, top left, is president of Nassau Community College and lives in Garden City.

George Bloom, top center, of South Setauket is president of Communication Workers of America Local 1104.

Mark J. Censoprano, top right, is chief marketing officer for Sbarro and lives in Florida.

Shaun L. McKay, bottom left, of Manorville is president of Suffolk County Community College.

Kevin M. Rooney, bottom center, is chief executive of Oil Heath Institute of Long Island and lives in Nesconset.

Donald A. Schatz, bottom right, is president, chief executive and principal of Dale Carnegie Training of Long Island and a Syosset resident.
