About 68 businesses congregated at the Melville Marriott Wednesday to present at one of the region’s largest business expos.

The expo, sponsored by the Melville Chamber of Commerce, serves as forum for businesses within the Melville and surrounding areas to promote and display their goods and services.

“We’re expecting 1,000 people or more,” says Chamber president Michael DeLuise, above left, adding that they exceeded over 1,000 attendees at last year’s expo.

Some of the presenting companies include JASB Management Inc. in Syosset, Portnoy Messinger Pearl & Associates in Syosset, Costco in Melville, Sandler Training in Hauppauge, and Bi-County Mailing in Farmingdale.

“They get a nice turnout,” says Greg Demetriou, president of Bi-County Mailing, which specializes in direct mail marketing. “We see many of our clients here.”
The expo was held until 6 p.m. Wednesday.
