9 LI employers get award for workplace flexibility

Nine employers on Long Island that offer workplace flexibility will be honored at a work and life conference in November. They are Long Island regional recipients of the 2011 Alfred P. Sloan Award for Business Excellence in Workplace Flexibility.

The Nov. 4 event in Woodbury is the 16th Annual Work-Life Conference sponsored by Jericho-based National Association of Mothers’ Centers.

Honorees are:
