About $82 million in state aid is headed to Long Island for various projects, including money for a nursing innovation lab at Adelphi University and to convert an armory in Huntington Station into a community center.
The state is also sending $4.7 million for a commercial building that is part of the Wyandanch Rising revitalization project.

Smaller deals included $285,000 for a Long Island Wine Council tourism campaign and $76,000 for a Andreas Gursky exhibit at the Parrish Art Museum in Water Mill.
Another $240,000 is headed to Nassau County to design and construct accessibility improvements to existing boat ramps and kayak launches along the county's South Shore.
The aid packages are part of Gov. Andrew M. Cuomo's competition for capital grants and state tax credits aimed at creating jobs.
The $82 million in state aid placed Long Island second among New York's regions, behind only the Mid-Hudson Valley, which was awarded $82.8 million.
