Hauppauge-based defense and industrial electronics company Orbit International Corp. reports a change in its outside accountancy.

Orbit told the Securities and Exchange Commission in a Wednesday filing that its outside accounting firm Amper, Politziner and Mattia LLP has merged with another firm, Eisner LLP.
The combined accounting firm is now known as EisnerAmper LLP (which has an office on Broadhollow Road in Melville).

Orbit says the change won’t affect its corporate accounting regime.

“The audit committee of the company's board of directors has engaged EisnerAmper LLP to serve as the company's new independent registered public accounting firm,” Orbit said told the SEC.
