Aceto swaps out CEOs

New and old Aceto CEO.
Aceto Corp. of Lake Success has a new chief executive.
He's Albert Eilender, left, and he will also assume the job of executive chairman of the board.
At the same time, the company board named Vince Miata — who had been chief executive — as chief operating officer. Miata, right, will keep his title as president.
The changes are immediate, the company said in a news release.
"Mr. Eilender has served as non-executive chairman since October 2009, and been a member of Aceto's board since December 1999. For approximately five years, Mr. Eilender served as the lead independent director," the company statement said.
Miata had been president since December 2008 and chief executive since October 2009.
Aceto describes itself as "a global leader in the sourcing, quality assurance, regulatory support, marketing and distribution of pharmaceuticals, nutraceuticals, specialty chemicals and crop protection products."
