Adhesive exec joins hospital board

An executive at the adhesive tape engineering company Adchem Corp., in Riverhead, has been appointed to the board of trustees of the Eastern Long Island Hospital.
Joseph M. Pufahl, of Cutchogue, will bring business planning and product development experience to the board, Paul J. Connor III, the hospital president, said in a statement. "He is well respected for his community involvement and has devoted over 35 years to corporate management and marketing."
Adchem makes specialty adhesive tape for the automotive, construction, graphic art, medical, and transportation industries.
