Manhasset-based podiatry group adds two new offices

The Manhasset-based Advanced Podiatry medical and surgical group is expanding with the purchase of a longstanding practice with two Nassau County offices.
The group last month added the Mineola and Williston Park offices of Country Foot Care to its existing locations in Manhasset, Plainview, Huntington, Coram and the Maspeth section of Queens.
Advanced Podiatry's 23 physicians now include Dr. Steven Brook, the founder of Country Foot Care, which provided podiatric care on Long Island for nearly 40 years. Also joining Advanced Podiatry in the Mineola and Williston Park offices are Dr. Heather Leeb, Dr. Lenny Nguyen, Dr. Chris Chung and Dr. Basem Hakim.
Dr. Pedram Hendizadeh, owner and CEO of Advanced Podiatry, said in a statement that the group is “truly pleased to incorporate the expertise of Country Foot Care’s physicians and staff into our practice.”
The group’s board-certified physicians provide surgical and non-surgical foot and ankle care, including skin, bone, neurological and vascular conditions, for patients of all ages, Advanced Podiatry said in a statement. They also specialize in sports medicine for adults and children with injuries, diabetes, in-toe and out-toe gait, flat feet, high arched feet and heel pain.
Advanced Podiatry declined to comment Monday on the terms of the acquisition.
