Allure Metal Works to move to Islandia
Allure Metal Works Inc., a Ronkonkoma-based maker and distributor of HVAC air duct systems, is relocating under a new lease agreement with Rechler Equity Partners to a 30,400-square-foot space in Islandia.
The new location at 71 Hoffman Lane will host the family business' roughly 30 employees, and will be the manufacturing and distribution hub for its sheet metal products. The new location, which has less office space but more room for manufacturing than its current location, was chosen to meet increased demand from Manhattan construction projects that need specialized oval-shaped air ducts.
"Because that's the wave of the future, we're preparing ourselves," said Richard Kern, founder and consultant for Allure Metal Works.
The company is in the process of moving and expects its Islandia site to be fully operational within a month.
