Appointments around the Island

Greg Zucker, left, a litigation partner at the Uniondale law firm of Westerman Ball Ederer Miller & Sharfstein, has been appointed chair of the litigation committee for the Nassau County Bar Association. He is an East Hills resident.

Lynn Schaefer has been elected president of the neuropsychology division of the New York State Psychological Association. The Syosset resident is a clinical neuropsychologist and director of neuropsychology at Nassau University Medical Center in East Meadow.

Robert J. Frey of Port Jefferson has joined the board of directors at Empire National Bank in Islandia. He is president and chief executive of Harbor Financial Management in Port Jefferson. He is also a research professor at Stony Brook University's department of applied mathematics and statistics.
