'Around 50' business awards

Long Island Business News will hold an awards night titled "Fifty or so Around 50" on Oct. 7 at the Crest Hollow Country Club in Woodbury.

The night is a time to bring attention to businesses and organizations (and their leaders) "that are around 50 — and proud of it.

“These intelligent, hardworking, dynamic men and women are dedicated to Long Island's strong, enduring companies and organizations, enriching our business community every day,” the business journal said in a news release.
