Arrow teams up with Swedish telecom company

Melville-based Arrow Electronics Inc. has signed a global distribution agreement with Swedish telecom systems company H&D Wireless.

Arrow distributes electronic components to industrial and commercial users.

"Arrow customers will now have access to H&D's Wi-Fi systems in both modules and development kits," Arrow said in a news release.

H&D Wireless software streamlines the network design process.

Its products are "low-power, compact and low-cost" and may be used in energy control, digital media, health care, automotive and GPS applications, Arrow said.

H&D also provides reference design support for multimedia and "smart home" applications that reduce design time and system cost.
