An info technology training company, a subsidiary of Melville-based Arrow Electronics Inc., has a new agreement to provide training for IBM storage software.
IBM has approved the subsidiary, Arrow Enterprise Computing Solutions — or Arrow ECS — to provide the training nationwide.
Jan Johnston, IBM Systems training services manager, said in a news release that Arrow was chosen for the contract "based on its high satisfaction rating for courses, breadth of training facilities and long-standing support for IBM."
Mark Taylor, vice president of the IBM group for Arrow ECS, said, "The new training courses are delivered by certified instructors with firsthand knowledge of course material."
