Arrow unit expands in the U.K.

A unit of Melville-based Arrow Electronics Inc. will be able to offer complete IBM infrastructure systems in the United Kingdom, the company announced Thursday morning.

The subsidiary, Arrow Enterprise Computing Solutions, based in Englewood, Colo., will distribute IBM’s power systems products by IBM United Kingdom Ltd. beginning in October. Arrow already distributes IBM’s storage products there.

“This is the final key element that completes our IBM infrastructure portfolio and enables us to offer total end-to-end IBM solutions,” said Steve Pearce, managing director of Arrow ECS in the U.K.
