Associate joins East Meadow firm

Carly Wiskoff has joined the litigation practice group on the East Meadow firm of Certilman Balin Adler & Hyman as an associate. The Queens resident was a legal assistant at Federal Defenders of New York in Manhattan.

Also in the world of law on Long Island, Sharon Kovacs Gruer, a Great Neck resident, was elected chair of the elder law section of the New York State Bar Association. She has her own law firm in Great Neck.

And Robert Guido has joined the Garden City firm of Jaspan Schlesinger in an of counsel capacity. The Huntington Bay resident was senior real estate counsel at Renaissance Property Associates in Plainview.
