BAE Systems wins $8.7 million contract for F-16 work
BAE Systems’ Greenlawn unit has won an $8.7 million contract for “friend or foe” identification systems to be installed on U.S. F-16 fighter jets.
The contract, announced by the Defense Department on Monday, is expected to be completed by Oct. 13, 2018.
Fiscal 2016 appropriation funds from the National Guard and Reserve were allocated for the contract with the Air Force Life Cycle Management Center at Hill Air Force Base, Utah.
