Banker gets humanitarian award

Kirk Kordeleski of Sea Cliff has received the 2011 John O’Neill Humanitarian Award from, Project GRAD, a nonprofit that aims to improve graduation rates among economically disadvantaged communities.
Kordeleski — who was honored for his “significant contribution to Long Island’s underserved communities” — is president and chief executive of Bethpage Federal Credit Union and chairman of Project GRAD Long Island’s board of directors.
He is also first vice chair of the Long Island Association’s board of directors and is on the board of the Long Island Arts Alliance.
