Bematech International Corp., an equipment supplier to retailers and restaurants, has moved its local operation from New Hyde Park to Bethpage, Nassau County officials said Wednesday.

Bematech is now located in the Bethpage Business Park, a complex of office and industrial space on land once used by Grumman Corp., said Nassau County Executive Edward Mangano.

Developer Steel Equities received tax breaks from the Nassau County Industrial Development Agency, which in turn provided low rent for Bematech.

Mangano said Bematech had shown a “commitment to a continued investment in Nassau County.”

Bematech general manager Juliet Derby thanked the county and Steel Equities for helping to facilitate the move.
