Big volume changes for two Long Island company stocks

Two Long Island companies were on The Associated Press lists of 10 biggest volume gainers and losers for Monday:

Nasdaq biggest volume gainer: About 3,922,800 shares of Hauppauge Digital Inc., a Hauppauge-based computer video electronics maker, changed hands. That’s a 2,708.4 percent increase over its 65-day average volume. Shares rose $.73 or 33.2 percent to $2.93.

New York Stock Exchange biggest volume decliner: About 2,900 shares of BRT Realty Trust, a commercial mortgage real estate investment trust based in Great Neck, changed hands. That’s a 87.4 decrease from its 65-day average volume. Shares fell $.10 or 1.5 percent to $6.60.
