Bus fleet owner named contractor of the year

Kevin J. Clifford of Huntington has received the National Contractor of the Year Award from School Bus Fleet magazine based on his efforts improving his own company while making “significant contributions” to promoting contracting at the state and national levels.
Clifford is president of Huntington Coach Corp., which he joined in 1965, and the company has grown from 100 vehicles to more than 900 today under his leadership.
He also is former president of the New York State School Bus Owners Association, a member of the Huntington Elks, and a contributor to Memorial Sloan-Kettering Cancer Center.
