Action Long Island, a Melville-based not-for-profit group, will host a “fireside chat” Jan. 25 with both Nassau County Executive Edward Mangano and his Suffolk counterpart, Steve Levy.
The event will be held from 8 to 10 a.m. at the Crest Hollow Country Club in Woodbury. Tickets are $40 for regular members of Action Long Island; $25 for members of YAA, the group's young adult alliance; and $50 for nonmembers.
Tables of 10 cost $350 for YAA members, $375 for regular Action Long Island members, and $475 for nonmembers. YAA leaders Frances Picone and Louis Imbroto, above, "will share the stage with the county executives to ask questions from young adult perspectives," the organization said.
"Tickets include breakfast, networking, fireside chat with the county executives, personal Q&A and more," the group said.
"Reserve early, last year's breakfast sold out!"
More information is available on the group's website.
Businesses interested in sponsoring the event should contact Lenae Price at 631-425-2700, or by email at LPrice@ActionLongIsland.org.
