Business people on the move

Walter Priestley, right, has been named president of the Nassau district chapter of the New York State Chiropractic Association. The Farmingdale resident has his own chiropractic practice in Farmingdale.

Dorothy Jacobs of Island Park, left, has been elected president of the board of directors of the Long Island Crisis Center, a nonprofit organization in Bellmore that provides confidential services to Long Islanders in crisis. She is a retired social worker.
 
Robert S. Cohen of Lattingtown has been appointed to the Equipment Leasing and Finance Association’s credit and collections management committee. He is a partner in the Garden City law firm of Moritt Hock Hamroff & Horowitz.
 
Rose Tummarello, president of the accounting firm Tummarello & Associates in Uniondale, has joined the council of overseers at the Tilles Center for the Performing Arts in Brookville. She lives in Malverne.
