CA Technologies, of Islandia, has created a new info technology structure for an international client, Avis Europe plc., allowing the car rental company to streamline decision-making for 2,800 locations on four continents.

The CA software links Avis Europe’s system of car rental offices in 109 countries in Europe, Africa, the Middle East and Asia.

The software product used in the Avis Europe project is CA Clarity PPM, which CA said helps the client improve the flow of  information to its United Kingdom headquarters, and to more quickly and reliably make  financially sound decisions.

“Within the UK business, Avis Europe is now able to capture a single view of the company's top-20 product developments, make better investment and pipeline decisions, while predicting program dynamics with greater accuracy,” CA Technologies said in a news release.

Avis Europe plc. will use the CA software to link its wholly-owned subsidiaries in 13 nations and its franchisees in another 96 countries.
