Canon U.S.A. Inc., based in Lake Success, has extended its sponsorship of the New York Islanders for another two years, the company announced Tuesday morning.

Long Islanders will see the Canon logo — in-ice, near center ice and behind both the home (in photo at left) and visitor benches at Nassau Veterans Memorial Coliseum.

The Canon brand will also be promoted through the team’s “Fan Cam” and Fan Photo Program during all regular season home games.

“As a Long Island-based company, we are proud to extend our relationship with the New York Islanders and continue building strong roots in the Long Island community,” said Bunji Yano, a spokesman for Canon U.S.A., in a statement.

“Having a business partner like Canon is immeasurable in the sports world,” said Justin Johnson, Islanders senior vice president of Corporate Partnerships.
