Canon U.S.A. is giving away free photo prints as part of a sales pitch for a new line of large-format professional printers.
The Lake Success-based company offers potential buyers the chance to get three 8 ½ x 11 sample printed photos from its line of 12-color imagePROGRAF printers.
The web address for the free print requests is usa.canon.com/ipfprintsample. Samples will be mailed to the customer at no cost.
The company hopes the promotion helps sell the large-format iPF8300, 6350 and 6300 models.
The iPF8300, 6350 and 6300 retail for $5,995, $3,995 and $3,695, respectively.
The images were provided through the Canon "Explorers of Light” photographer program.
Canon U.S.A. says the idea is to “demonstrate the dynamic color range and quality of Canon’s large-format printers and empower consumers to make an educated purchase decision.”
