Canon U.S.A. plans a new cloud-computing print system for use with the sales management website Salesforce.com.
Canon, based in Lake Success, said its cloud-based application, Forms and Print Services for Salesforce, "will allow users to create highly visual and attention-grabbing reports and forms, and easily print them without the need for any print drivers."
The Canon-Salesforce Forms and Print Services application is scheduled to be available on the AppExchange in January 2012.
"The Forms and Print Services for Salesforce application is the result of a direct integration between Salesforce and the Canon Business Imaging Online cloud service, thereby giving end users convenient access to the forms and print functions through a single button operation simply by logging into their Salesforce account," Canon said.
