Lake Success-based Canon U.S.A. has sent a marketing team on the road this week to Philadelphia, where teachers and school administrators have gathered for the International Society for Technology in Education exposition.

Canon has set up a booth to demonstrate how its scanners, cameras, copiers, printers and projectors "can empower students’ creativity in the classroom as well as assist administrative needs in school offices."

Highlighted products include Canon's "Scan-tini" -- the imageFORMULA P-150 Personal Document Scanner, measuring 3.7 x 1.6 x 11 inches and weighing about 2 pounds (shown in photo).

Other school-friendly products are the imageFORMULA DR-6030C Departmental Scanner, which can capture images of documents up to nearly 40 inches long; PowerShot and EOS Digital SLR cameras; and LV-8320 portable multimedia LCD projector.
