 Why did you go into this field?

I went through a number of other jobs coming out of college. I was drawn to helping people, getting them to the goals where they wanted to be. What I want to do is make people feel comfortable. It's rewarding when people hit their goals.

What would you say to someone considering this career?

First and foremost you've got to be comfortable working directly with people. Trust is huge. People with injuries aren't going to feel comfortable doing certain exercises. You have to have knowledge of everything - what people can and can't do.
