Former KeySpan chief executive Robert B. Catell will discuss energy independence and sustainability on Wednesday evening at Adelphi University.

Catell will take questions at 6 p.m. from Adelphi president Robert A. Scott inside the ballroom of the university center building on the Garden City campus. The event is free and open to the public.

Catell is a fellow at Adelphi's business school, which is celebrating its 50th year in 2014. Healso  is chairman of the board of directors of JJT Energy, a natural gas company serving Long Island and New York City, and a former National Grid executive.
