Champion Office Suites suggests a way to reduce gas expenses and driving time for Nassau and Suffolk businesspeople who want to talk face to face.
Try a videoconference, professionally hosted in Riverhead, Islip or Garden City. The cost is $100 an hour, which Champion says is half the usual rate.
Champion, headquartered in Garden City and with offices in Islip and Riverhead, “is pleased to announce an affiliation with VideoConnect Inc. to provide low-cost video conferencing services between their three state-of-the-art video conferencing facilities located in both eastern and western Long Island.”
Roger Kahn, founder of Champion, said in a news release, “If the recent bad weather, and its impact on ease of travel haven't made it apparent that the time for this service has arrived, nothing will.”
