Church, career services group to host Medford job fair
A local church and a career-services group are teaming up to sponsor a job fair on Tuesday in Medford.
So far, 15 employers have signed up to participate in the free event by Feed My Sheep Baptist Church and BAM!UR Hired, said Porsha Joseph, chief executive and founder of BAM.
Employers expected to participate include the New York City Police Department, Aflac Insurance and Banana Republic.
The event will take place at the church, at 495A Granny Rd., from 5 p.m. to 8:30 p.m. and will include information on topics such as dressing for success and preparing for an interview.
