Chyron COO to resign

The chief operating officer of Melville-based Chyron Corp. plans to resign his position March 25,
after being offered the chief executive post at a Connecticut technology company.
Chyron announced the resignation of Kevin Prince in a terse Securities and Exchange Commission filing dated Thursday. He will also resign as senior vice president at the company, which provides digital and broadcast graphics systems.
Chyron CEO Michael Wellesley Wesley said that Prince had been offered the Connecticut job.
"I rate him very highly," Wesley said. "He has given Chyron 150 percent for the 6 1/2 years he has been here.
